Contact us and we will see if this is an issue we can help you with. Trouble shooting covers common issues for people new to the service.

I have downloaded a bunch of files that are ending in numerical sequence .001 .002 .003 etcra, how do i turn them into a file?

This requires the use of a par2 file, if you have the par2 file that comes with the set open the file with quick par and it will allow you to extract it too a single file.

Alternately, you may have some rar files, rar files are the standard for compressing large files on usenet servers.

How many ports should I use for my usenetxp service?

We recommend that you add connections one at a time noting the increase in speed each time you add a port. Please note you will often find that adding too many ports will result in a reduction of speed as your link gets congested.

I have installed and configured altbinz now what?

Once altbinz is installed, click on the hourglass icon next to NZBindex and try a search, once you have some results right click on the results and choose Add to queue now click on the connect Icon in the main toolbar and it will start downloading. Click on the Download Queue icon on the secondary toolbar to view the progress of your download Alternately, search and download some nzb files from iwantmy.usenetxp.com
